Canadian PR and Citizenship

In Canada Permanent residents needs to satisfy certain residency requirements in order to maintain their PR status or in order to apply for citizenship.

Applicants must have Canadian PR status and lived in Canada for at least 2 years (730 days) out of 5 years period.

Applicants must have Canadian PR status and have lived in Canada for at least four years or 1460 days out of the past six years before applying for citizenship.
